Summary

Overview: As a MITER Brands National Account Manager, individual will be responsible for managing and growing the relationships with ABC Supply and the Norandex Strategic Business Unit with a focus on share gain and growth. The NAM will leverage his or her expertise to drive sales, enhance customer satisfaction and ensure company’s products meet the needs of MITER Brands’ customers.

Responsibilities

  • Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key ABC Supply & Norandex associates, understanding their business needs and challenges to provide tailored solutions towards sales growth. Establish and expand relationships at the five regional division offices with a focus on national, regional, district and business development levels. Serve as primary point of contact for ABC management.
  • Sales Strategy: Create and implement strategic sales plans aimed at achieving sales targets and expanding market presence within ABC Supply with a focus on share gain and sales growth.
  • Sales Management: Collaborate with sales management and MITER territory sales managers to develop branch business plans and account playbooks with ABC personnel to jointly cultivate customer acquisition plans.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s product offerings, industry trends, and competitor analysis to effectively communicate value to customers.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, operations and logistics to ensure alignment on account strategies and customer expectations. Promote ABC Supply & Norandex within the MITER organization at all levels.
  • Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. Serve as a valuable resource for all ABC Supply and Norandex associates.
  • Communication : Be a conduit of sales, product, and program information between MITER Brands and ABC Supply.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor account performance against sales targets and prepare regular reports for upper management, analyzing trends and proposing adjustments as needed. Provide sales reports to ABC Supply & Norandex SBU on a monthly basis to evaluate progress towards stated goals.
  • Market Development: Identify new business opportunities and potential accounts, conducting market research and outreach to expand the customer base.

Qualifications

  • 4-year undergraduate degree in business or related field or equivalent Sales experience
  • Experience in the building products distribution arena is preferred
  • Must be available for overnight travel within the country.
  • Basic computer skills and experience utilizing Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to successfully manage customer expectations by providing superior service to each customer.
  • Able to interface and communicate effectively with individuals with diverse backgrounds at varying levels of an organization.
