We are seeking a dynamic and experienced National Account Manager to join our team. This role is integral to the success of our business and will involve working closely with our key national accounts within the engineering industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing these key relationships, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction, and driving growth. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment where you will utilize your skills in engineered products, custom manufacturing, engineering, and project management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key national accounts, understanding their needs, and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand business with existing clients, driving growth and profitability.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, custom-engineered products.
  • Use your detailed knowledge of engineering processes and products to provide expert advice and guidance to clients.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Use your advanced Microsoft Office skills to create detailed reports and presentations, providing insight into account performance and opportunities for growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, using this knowledge to inform strategic decision making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the engineering industry.
  • Proven experience managing key accounts and driving growth.
  • Strong knowledge of engineered products and custom manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Highly detailed with strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed and a commitment to continuous learning and development.
