Music Director / Voice Instructor - (Resident Teaching Artist) We are seeking talented and passionate Voice Instructors to join our team starting in late August 2023 thru July 2023. Positions include full-time and part-time. The instructor will be responsible for teaching musical theater techniques to students of all ages and skill levels. Compensation is commensurate with experience (ranging from $20-$38/hour for instructional hours, $16 for non-instructional (some positions are salaried)). Responsibilities: Plan and conduct musical theater classes for students of various ages and skill levels Teach musical theater techniques Create lesson plans and develop class materials Assess student progress and provide feedback Collaborate with other instructors to create interdisciplinary classes Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities Be on the creative team for the Academy Musicals Requirements: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Vocal Performance, Musical Theater or related field (or equivalent experience) Demonstrated expertise in one or multiple musical theater disciplines Experience teaching musical theater to students of various ages and skill levels Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with other instructors and staff members Passion for musical theater and a commitment to excellence in teaching Possible full time hours are Tuesday-Friday 1:00-9:30 and Saturday from 8:30-4:45.
