The Multimedia Producer will be instrumental in enhancing Christendom College’s image and outreach through the creation of compelling video content. This role involves overseeing the entire video production process—from conceptualization to final delivery—to effectively communicate the college’s mission, events, and initiatives to various audiences. This role involves planning, shooting, editing, and producing video content for various platforms, including podcasts, online courses, promotional campaigns, and social media.

Responsibilities

• Video Production: Plan, film, and edit video content, ensuring high production value and alignment with Christendom College’s mission and brand.
• Post-Production: Use professional video editing software to edit footage, add graphics, and integrate sound design, creating polished final products.
• Content Strategy: Collaborate with the Communications and Marketing team to conceptualize and execute video projects that support the college’s strategic goals.
• Equipment Management: Maintain and organize video production equipment, ensuring readiness for use.
• Storytelling: Craft compelling visual narratives that effectively communicate the college’s values, programs, and achievements.
• Digital Archives: Manage and organize a digital repository of video content for easy access and reuse.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from Christendom College or in Film Production, Multimedia Arts, Communications, or a related field.
• Preferred 3–5 years of professional experience in video production, preferably within an educational or nonprofit environment.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Final Cut Pro and related applications.
• Strong storytelling skills with an eye for visual composition and detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
