Required Technical Skill Set

Aircraft maintenance requirements, MRO transformations & Aviation


Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

  • Design and implement scalable integration architectures for MRO systems such as SAP PM/EAM, Aircom, Flight status, work packages, ground event and integration with other airlines(Airbus, Amadeus)
  • Develop integration strategies that align with enterprise architecture standards and business objectives.
  • Define interface specifications, data mappings, and transformation rules across systems (ERP, PLM, MES, Inventory, Procurement).
  • Lead technical integration efforts using middleware tools (e.g., MQ, Kong API, SMTP, MFT/SFTP).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, and infrastructure specialists.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with internal policies and industry regulations. Troubleshoot integration issues and provide ongoing support and enhancements.
  • Create and maintain documentation including interface architecture diagrams, process flows, and data models.
  • Participate in planning and execution of integration testing and validation processes.


Good-to-Have

  • Airline Domain Knowledge or Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul
  • Coordinate with DBAs, system architects, and business analysts.
  • Expertise in knowledges on any one MRO software systems (e.g., AMOS, TRAX, Ramco, Ultramain, IFS & Maintenix)



Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

  • Deep understanding of MRO business processes in industries such as aerospace, defense, energy, or manufacturing
  • Proven experience with enterprise middleware platforms and API management tools.
  • Propose or recommend Best practices or guidelines for DS to follow.
  • Strong knowledge of system integration protocols (SOAP, REST, EDI, IDoc, etc.).
  • Understanding of IoT and predictive maintenance integrations.
  • Good presentation skill to present the solution to Enterprise Design Authority forum to get the endorsement
  • Knowledge of master data governance and synchronization strategies.
  • Experience in Agile or hybrid SDLC environments.
