Summary

Our pharma client is seeking a Motion Graphics Designer / Video Editor to join their team on a 1 year freelance assignment. This is hybrid, 3 days/week onsite in Irvine, CA. *Flexibility is crucial for this role as projects/hours will fluctuate.*

In order to be considered for the Motion Graphics Designer / Video Editor role, you must have experience with:

  • After Effects
  • Premiere
  • C4D
  • Photoshop
  • Illustrator

Summary: Our major pharma agency client is seeking a highly skilled Motion Designer/Video Editor who is fluent in After Effects and Adobe Premiere. Familiarity with Cinema 4D is a strong plus. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, can work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, and has experience creating compelling, high-quality content, ideally in the healthcare/pharma space.

Responsibilities

  • Design and animate motion graphics for video content, digital campaigns, and social media.
  • Edit video content from assembly to final delivery, maintaining brand and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with creative directors, copywriters, and account teams to ensure visuals align with strategy and storytelling goals.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Help conceptualize visual treatments and pitch new ideas for campaigns.
  • Maintain and organize project files, assets, and templates.
  • Stay current with industry trends, animation techniques, and new tools.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional experience in motion design and video editing (pharma experience preferred but not required).
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere.
  • Working knowledge of Cinema 4D or other 3D software is a major plus.
  • Strong sense of typography, design, timing, and storytelling.
  • Ability to adapt to multiple brand styles and adhere to regulatory requirements.
  • Comfortable taking feedback and making revisions quickly and accurately.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including medical data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment. Additionally, drug products may be present in the workplace.
