Bright is backed by three major venture capital funds (Sequoia, Falcon Edge and Hummingbird) and with top angel investors from the US, UK and India, Bright has raised +$40 million in funding to date.

Bright has recently raised $50M in debt funding from Encina Lender Finance, for its credit business growth. Encina Lender Finance provides lending solutions to consumer and commercial speciality finance companies across the U.S. and Canada.

About Our Founders:

Bright was founded in 2019 by a founding team from McKinsey’s Banking Practice (Petko Plachkov and Avi Patchava) and InMobi Data Scientist (Avi Patchava, Varun Modi, Avinash Ramakath, Jayashree Merwade).

Ideal Candidate?

You are an outstanding Digital Storyteller who can expertly leverage knowledge and skills in motion design to tell compelling visual stories — coming to life through video and animation. Supporting the priorities of Bright, the storyteller plays a critical role in telling our story and deepening engagement with our mission, vision, and values through compelling content in marketing.

Responsibilities:

• Create a wide variety of motion graphics-based videos to effectively and creatively communicate new product features, product tutorials, and brand promotional content for Marketing
• Work as an integral part of the growth & brand team and actively contribute to designing key assets (Brand videos, website assets, advertisement videos) which would be a part of customer acquisition.
• Understand the brief from the stakeholders and transform them into tangible designs.
• Create your own storyboards and work with storyboards from a design team to bring ideas to life and iterate efficiently
• Evolve brand identity and communicate product, marketing assets, and business benefits/features leveraging the power of animated storytelling.

What will you bring?

• 1+ years of demonstrated design skills with a strong portfolio.
• Highly proficient in After Effects and Premiere Pro
• Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as Adobe Creative Suite - XD, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Figma)
• Experience in 3D Animation software - Blender is preferred
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
• Research on best practices, inspiration, or other items
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
• A degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field is a plus.
