We are seeking a full-time Mortgage Licensing and Compliance Analyst to join our Compliance department and provide support with licensing, quality control, regulatory and audit-related activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Communicates licensing requirements with prospective new hires.
* Liaison with onboarding to obtain NMLS state licensure and sponsorship.
* Utilize the NMLS and may participate in meetings and discussions regarding the functionality and future development of the NMLS.
* Coordinate license approvals with IT Department to authorize in our systems and communicate Account Executive license approvals to related departments.
* Direct mortgage licensing partner to license Account Executives, Branches and Company in particular states, as needed by gathering and providing required documentation to licensing partner for new licenses, license renewals, and license terminations.
* Assist our licensing partner in addressing licensee deficiencies.
* Coordinate annual Account Executive, Management, Branch and Company license renewals with our licensing partner and track progress of all license renewals to assure filing by deadlines
* Prepare correspondence to companies and individuals relative to the application and renewal procedures.
* Coordinate annual continuing education orders between Account Executives, certain Management and our licensing education partner; track completion of courses and follow up with individuals / Sales Management to assure completion by deadlines.
* Process payments for Account Executive / certain Management continuing education requirements, including license renewals, and report payments to Accounting.
* Gather licensing information as requested for Annual Reporting and State Examinations
* Prepare and disseminate licensing status spreadsheets to Sales Management on a regular basis
* Audit licensing spreadsheets for accuracy on a periodic basis
* Prepare and file quarterly Mortgage Call Reports in the NMLS
* Work with 3rd party social media auditor to review monthly audits, communicate corrections to appropriate staff, monitor and assure timely corrections are made
* Assist in internal compliance audits as requested
* Participate in training in order to develop and acquire the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to facilitate the licensing process.
* Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Requirements
* Bachelors Degree preferred
* NMLS Licensing experience for an independent mortgage company or bank preferred
* Minimum two or three (2-3) years experience in a mortgage compliance role preferred
* Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time with a strong focus on accuracy and results
* Excellent attention to detail & accuracy; ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
* Ability to interpret regulatory language
* Ability to recognize and maintain confidentiality of pertinent personal and company information
* Excellent communication and business wiring skills
* Ability to think outside the box and understand developmental needs of an agile, growing mid-sized company.
