Role: MongoDB Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy and maintain MongoDB / MongoDB Atlas environments.
• Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Administer replica sets, perform patching, and handle upgrades.
• Design and enforce sharding, indexing, and security strategies.
• Create users, assign roles, and manage database access permissions.
• Monitor system health and ensure high availability and performance.
• Automate operational tasks and manage infrastructure to support databases.
• Maintain detailed documentation on database architecture and setups.
• Provide production support using incident and problem management tools.

Required Skills:

• 6+ years of MongoDB administration experience
• Strong hands-on with replica sets, sharding, indexing, and Atlas
• Proficient in Linux-based environments and scripting for automation
• Knowledge of DB security standards, monitoring tools, and DevOps practices
