We are seeking a highly skilled MongoDB Database Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing MongoDB databases. You will be responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, and security of our MongoDB instances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement MongoDB database solutions to support business applications.
• Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security.
• Analyze and resolve database performance issues.
• Develop and maintain database standards and documentation.
• Collaborate with development teams to design and optimize database queries.
• Perform database tuning and maintenance activities.
• Implement backup and recovery strategies.
• Monitor database performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Stay updated with the latest MongoDB features and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a MongoDB Database Architect or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of MongoDB architecture and design.
• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and schema design.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MongoDB certification.
• Experience with other NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra, Couchbase).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
