Your Role & Responsibility

• Supporting the development and maintenance of automated test scripts, especially using Gherkin/Cucumber for BDD testing.
• Participating in manual test execution to validate features and identify issues across mobile platforms.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure adequate test coverage.
• Testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar.
• Applying a basic understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS when testing web or hybrid mobile applications.
• Helping to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab Pipelines, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Continuously learning and contributing to the evolution of the test strategy, tools, and best practices.

Required Technical & Professional Expertise

• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Knowledge of Gherkin/Cucumber for BDD test scenarios.
• Experience or solid understanding of REST API testing (Postman, Insomnia, Swagger, etc.).
• Hands-on exposure to manual testing processes and tools (Test Case Design, Execution, Xray, or similar).
• Interest or experience in iOS and Android mobile testing.
• Basic familiarity with JavaScript and modern frameworks like Vue.js or Angular (even at a beginner level).
• Willingness to work in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders.
• Experience in Java for test automation (Nice-to-Have).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab Pipelines, GitHub Actions)(Nice-to-Have).
• Exposure to Shell scripting (bash/zsh)(Nice-to-Have).
• Previous use of record-and-playback tools like Testim, Katalon Studio, or similar(Nice-to-Have).
• Awareness of testing practices for timeseries data or backend systems (Nice-to-Have).
