Mobile Fabric Engineer - City & West End - £36,000

Introduction:

An established FM provider is seeking a Mobile Fabric Engineer to cover a commercial portfolio across the City and West End. This is an ideal opportunity for a qualified and driven individual to join a reputable business with long-term stability and support.

Role Overview:

You’ll be responsible for general fabric maintenance across multiple sites, ensuring buildings remain operational and safe. The role demands a proactive engineer with strong communication skills who is comfortable working independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Mobile role covering commercial buildings across the City & West End

General building fabric maintenance including basic plumbing, carpentry, tiling, and patch repairs

Minor electrical tasks (if suitably qualified)

Painting & decorating

Reactive and planned maintenance

Liaising with site contacts and reporting issues clearly

Participating in a call-out rota (details confirmed at interview stage)

Completing job reports and documentation as required

Qualifications:

Must hold a core trade qualification (e.g. Level 2 in Electrical Installations, Plumbing, or Painting & Decorating)

Full UK driving licence

Good written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

Prior experience in a similar mobile or static fabric role is essential

On Offer:

Salary of £36,000 - £38,000 (must have all requirements)

Monday to Friday, 7am - 4pm

Company vehicle and fuel card provided

Private use of vehicle available

Call-out rota (details to be confirmed at interview)
