A brief snapshot of the role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Application Developer with a minimum of 3-4 years of hands-on experience in mobile application development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy innovative mobile solutions that meet business requirements and enhance user experience. The ideal candidate will develop, implement, and optimize mobile applications to tackle real-world challenges, particularly in agriculture, water, climate and biodiversity. This role is an opportunity to work on impactful projects that improve lives and promote sustainable development.


As a Mobile Application Developer,you will be responsible for:

  • Design and Development: Develop, test, and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms. Implement responsive UI/UX designs and ensure seamless user experiences.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Optimization: Optimize mobile applications for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Integration: Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and backend services.
  • Ensure proper data synchronization and offline functionality.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile development trends, tools, and technologies.
  • Deployment: Manage the end-to-end deployment process, including app store submissions (Google Play Store and Apple App Store). Monitor app performance and user feedback.


Apply if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in mobile application development.
  • Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C for iOS development, or Kotlin and Java for Android development.
  • Experience with cross-platform frameworks like Flutter, React Native, or Xamarin is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git).
  • Knowledge of mobile app architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM,MVC).Experience with automated testing and continuous integration (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Firebase, Push Notifications, and In-App Purchases.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Published apps on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX best practices for mobile applications.
