Already a stand-alone market leader in the U.S., we’re growing rapidly and expanding into the Uk and looking for a Mobile Applications Developer to drive the development of our mobile platforms. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams including product, design, and backend engineers to create intuitive, user-friendly apps for both iOS and Android. Your work will directly impact thousands of users and will be central to expanding our mobile offerings.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android
• Collaborate with the product and UX/UI design teams to implement new features and improve user experience
• Work with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless app performance
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimise mobile applications for maximum performance
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to continually improve our mobile platforms

Experience / Knowledge

• Proven commercial experience in building and maintaining mobile applications using React Native
• Solid understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript for mobile development
• Experience integrating mobile applications with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries
• Familiarity with mobile application architecture, design patterns, and performance optimisation
• Proficiency in testing mobile applications using tools like Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, or similar
• Experience with native mobile capabilities such as push notifications, device APIs, and offline support
• Experience working with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (Git)
• Strong client focus with a passion for creating intuitive, performant, and accessible mobile applications
• Collaborative mindset with experience working closely with designers and product teams
• Attention to detail in crafting polished, user-friendly mobile interfaces
• Excellent communication skills in English — both written and spoken — are essential for day-to-day collaboration within a distributed, international team

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with Expo for React Native
• Familiarity with mobile release processes, over-the-air updates, and app versioning
• Knowledge of AI tools supporting the automation of the development process
• Experience with web development (React or other modern frameworks)
• Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Firebase)
