Project description of what they are being hired to develop/maintain: The developer will work on a cross-platform mobile application built with React Native, targeting both iOS and Android users, alongside a complementary React web app. The mobile app focuses on user-friendly account management features for toll-related services (e.g., forms, dashboards, interactive elements), styled with Tailwind CSS for consistency and accessibility on both platforms. The web app mirrors these features for browser access, ensuring a cohesive experience. The role involves developing new features, maintaining existing UI components, optimizing performance for iOS and Android, and preparing for future API integrations. I recall from our discussions about Agile transitions that we’re using tools like ServiceNow to manage the SDLC, which will help streamline this project.

Full-stack web developer role with iOS and Android experience: The position focuses on building a cross-platform mobile app using React Native and Expo for both iOS and Android, alongside a React web app. It requires strong frontend expertise for mobile and web interfaces, with some backend integration for API connectivity in the future. We specifically need someone with 3+ years of iOS and Android development experience (Swift/Objective-C for iOS, Kotlin for Android) to handle platform-specific optimizations via Expo, ensuring seamless performance on both platforms. It’s not a full-stack iOS developer role, as the scope includes web development as well.

Frontend: React Native, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS for the mobile app, with Expo for iOS and Android development. For the web app, it’s React with Tailwind CSS and Vite as the build tool. State management tools like MobX or Redux are also required.

Backend (Future): The role will involve REST API integrations, with a preference for cloud-based technologies like AWS Lambda or Azure Functions.

Minimum Years of Experience required in the below:

• HTML/CSS: 8+ years, given the emphasis on responsive UI development with Tailwind CSS for both mobile and web apps.
• Bootstrap: Not explicitly required, but 3+ years is preferred if the candidate has experience with similar styling frameworks, aligning with industry standards for a senior role.
• JavaScript​: 8+ years, inferred from the 6+ years in React Native and TypeScript, which are JavaScript-based. I recall from our interview guide discussions that you emphasized strong JavaScript skills, expecting candidates to optimize performance with tools like FlatList, which applies here for mobile UI
• .iOS development: 3+ years, as specified for platform-specific optimizations using Swift/Objective-C, ensuring the app performs well on iOS devices
• .AWS: Not required, but 2+ years is preferred for familiarity with cloud-based integrations, given the future backend focus on cloud-native solutions like AWS Lambda
