The Opportunity

We’re in the process of developing our 2nd generation product and need a versatile mobile developer to bring our existing app to the next level. This role will have you pushing yourself and the boundaries of what’s possible in smart home gardening.

The Role

As our first dedicated Mobile Developer, you’ll own the entire app stack—from pixel‑perfect Flutter screens to the backend APIs that power them. You’ll collaborate closely with the rest of the team to create a seamless bridge between the cabinet, the cloud, and the user’s phone. On-site work is preffered but not required every day.

Must‑Have Skills

• Flutter / Dart (2 yrs+)
• Figma design‑system expertise—able to build component libraries, auto‑layout, and prototypes
• Modern UI/UX principles and accessibility
• Backend/API integration

Nice to have

• Experience with backend development (we're currently using Supabase)

What You’ll Do

• Own the entire mobile stack—from Figma prototypes to production Flutter code
• Build and maintain Vext’s design system in Figma and mirror it in Flutter
• Prototype, user‑test, and iterate on new features without a separate designer

Compensation & Culture

• Compensation: Sadly we cannot offer a fixed salary before we launch the sales of Vext 2.0 (targeting start of Q3). The road there looks very promising, but it's never 100% certain. Either way initial compensation will primarily be in shares.
• Startup Reality: This role will be fast-paced and often stressful, requiring you to tackle unfamiliar tasks while getting a non-competitive salary (at least to start). We’re looking for someone who thrives in uncertainty and is genuinely excited by the opportunity to build something groundbreaking.
