The Job Overview As a Jr. Mobile App Developer at Medido Health, you will be a crucial part of our development team, responsible for building and enhancing mobile applications for web, Android, and iOS platforms using Flutter. Your role will involve translating UI/UX designs into functional applications, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal app performance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using Flutter for Web, Android, and iOS platforms. Participate in the entire app development lifecycle, including concept, design, build, deployment, test, and release. Assist in translating UI/UX design wireframes into functional and responsive mobile applications. Identify and troubleshoot issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks to ensure smooth app performance across various devices. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in mobile app development and share knowledge with the team. Contribute to code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Work closely with Front-End and Back-End Developers to integrate app functionalities seamlessly. Collaborate with Business Representatives to understand user requirements and incorporate feedback into the app development process. Ensure the security, scalability, and maintainability of the developed applications. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve overall development processes. Minimum Degree and Years of Experience Required: BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field and at least 3 years of proven work experience or equivalent. Required Knowledge/Skills: Fluency in English, both written and verbal. Proficiency in mobile app development using the Flutter framework for web, Android, and iOS platforms. Strong understanding of programming languages, including Dart, JavaScript, or similar languages. Knowledge of mobile app design principles, user interface (UI), and user experience (UX). Familiarity with mobile app testing, debugging, and performance optimization techniques. Familiarity with front-end frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Bootstrap, Vue.js). Basic knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git). Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of UI/UX design principles. Experience with Firebase or other cloud-based services for app development. Knowledge of state management solutions in Flutter, such as Provider or Bloc. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration with backend services. Exposure to agile development methodologies. Previous experience in healthcare app development or a related field. A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms. Familiarity with Jenkins, Bitbucket, and GitHub. Familiarity with Click-Up or Jira.
