Job Summary: The Mitigation/Mold Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of Mold Remediation, Water Mitigation, Smoke/Fire Cleaning, and Contents projects, from initial assessment to completion. This role involves project planning, team management, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining a high standard of quality. The Mitigation/Mold Project Manager plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the health and safety of occupants and preserving the structural integrity of properties.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, timeline, and resource allocation. Collaborate with clients and third-party materially interested parties/agencies to establish project goals and expectations.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about federal, state, and local regulations related to water, fire & smoke mitigation/remediation and ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with these standards.
Team Management: Assemble and manage a team of technicians, inspectors, and subcontractors. Assign tasks and responsibilities, provide training, and monitor work performance.
Site Assessment: Conduct thorough inspections and assessments to determine the extent of the problem and develop a suitable mitigation/remediation plan.
Budget and Cost Control: Monitor project expenses, track costs, and ensure that projects stay within budget. Provide cost estimates and work with clients to adjust plans if necessary.
Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control measures throughout the remediation process to ensure the complete elimination of mold and prevent its return.
Health and Safety: Prioritize safety and ensure that all personnel follow proper safety procedures. Address safety concerns promptly and mitigate risks.
Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with clients, team members, and other stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project progress and address any concerns or issues promptly.
Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including work reports, photographs, and compliance records. Prepare comprehensive project reports for clients.
Materials and Equipment: Procure necessary materials, equipment, and tools for projects. Ensure that equipment is properly maintained.
Preferred Qualifications (NOT required, AGI is willing to train the right candidate):
Construction management, or related field preferred.
Relevant certifications/experience in mitiation/mold inspections, remediation, home inspections (e.g., IICRC certifications are a plus.)
Proven experience in project management or a related field.
Strong knowledge of Water Mitigation, Smoke/Fire Cleaning, and Mold Remediation methods, tools, and equipment.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to enforce compliance.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to changing conditions and make decisions in high-pressure situations.
Working Conditions:
The role may require working irregular hours, including weekends and evenings.
Frequent travel to project sites.
Exposure to mold, chemicals, and other environmental hazards may be encountered.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
