Summary

Alltech is seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and oversee millwright projects from start to finish. In this role, you ll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects while managing teams, schedules, and resources to deliver high-quality results. You ll collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and customers to ensure seamless project execution, providing your technical expertise, estimating, and supervising on-site activities. With a focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction, you ll drive productivity, control costs, and build strong client relationships. In this leadership role, you will leverage your industry knowledge gained as a Millwright Foreman or Project Manager to manage complex projects and expand business opportunities. Responsibilities: Prepare detailed project estimates, budgets, and customer proposals Track quoted items, change orders, subcontractors and purchase orders Oversee project scheduling and resource allocation, including tools and equipment, crew assignments, crew logistics and material needs Interface with customers, engineers, architects, subcontractors, and general contractors to ensure seamless project execution Lead and manage millwrights, project foremen, and subcontractors. Oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to design, budget, and schedule Provide technical assistance, interpret drawings, and recommend methods and equipment Manage project schedules and documentation. Manage project finances, including profit/loss management, cost control, and financial reporting Foster positive relationships with customers, field teams, and office personnel. Identify and pursue new project opportunities Adhere to OSHA and company safety standards and promote a safety-focused culture This position is in-office with occasional local and regional travel Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years of Journeyman Millwright experience with proven success managing industrial projects, including financial, resource, and time management Previous management experience Experience in industrial equipment installation, millwright and rigging projects, or manufacturing maintenance Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Excellent communication, planning, organizational, and supervisory abilities Proficiency with computer programs and resources Ability to multitask with accuracy and emotional intelligence Sales skills with experience building customer relationships through phone, in-person, and site visits Familiarity with industrial facilities and processes A valid driver s license, and a good driving record Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (safety, tool room, etc.) Detail-oriented, solutions-focused, and capable of fostering positive relationships with field staff, customers, and office personnel Preferred Qualifications: 8-10 years of Millwright Project Management experience Bachelor s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Sales or a related discipline, OR equivalent experience with a construction organization Experience with industrial facility equipment installation, repairs, modifications, and relocations Design/Build, General Contractor, or Construction Management project delivery experience Maintenance contract experience Knowledge of scheduling, estimating, purchasing, technology, equipment, construction methods, accounting principles, and basic engineering techniques About Alltech: Alltech Engineering Corp. has been Minnesota s trusted millwright contractor since 1973, providing reliable, resourceful, and responsive services to support industry.
