As part of our digital transformation, we are building a modern data platform on Google Cloud (GCP) to support scalable, reliable, and high-performing data solutions.

We seek an experienced Data Engineer to help design and build robust data pipelines and architectures using GCP managed services, DBT, Python, and SQL.

What does a Data Engineer do in our company?

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines on GCP, leveraging services like BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Composer
• Perform data modeling and design scalable architectures to meet business requirements
• Build and maintain SQL transformations using DBT
• Work on batch and streaming data pipelines with Kafka and Apache Spark
• Collaborate with development and analytics teams on data-driven projects and advanced analytics use cases
• Ensure data quality, performance optimization, and pipeline reliability
• Follow and promote best practices in data engineering and architecture
  
  

You Are a Good Candidate If You Have

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Data Architect in complex IT environments
• Hands-on experience with relational and analytical databases (SQL, BigQuery, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.)
• Strong SQL and Python skills for data processing
• Proven experience with GCP managed services in a production environment
• Solid understanding of data modeling principles, query optimization, and database performance tuning
• Experience working with Kafka and Spark as part of data pipelines
• Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and the ability to work in agile teams
  
  

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data workflows
• Knowledge of Data Mesh and Data Contracts concepts
• Background in the telecommunications industry or working with large-scale datasets
