We are looking for a Mid and Senior Java Engineers (m/f/t) to join our engineering team at Notch, a full-service custom software development company, on our mission to deliver top-notch digital products for global enterprises and tech disruptors.

What will you do?

As a Java Engineer, you will work on complex projects, including regulatory solutions and other modules for a platform developed for a world-renowned pharmaceutical IT solution provider.

You will play a pivotal role in backend development, focusing on creating new features while maintaining and raising high-quality standards through rigorous testing practices. You’ll refactor legacy code and address technical debt to improve system performance.

You’ll integrate multiple complex systems to ensure smooth functionality across platform modules, and you’ll use Documentum for content management tasks. You will collaborate with international, cross-functional teams to design scalable, maintainable solutions.

You will also support the alignment of regulatory solutions into a unified codebase and contribute to enhancing test automation processes. When required, you’ll make small changes and additions to the frontend part of the application.

The Perfect Candidate

• 4+ years of experience in software development
• Strong background in Java backend development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions
• Deep knowledge of Java and Spring framework (especially Spring MVC)
• Proficiency in technologies such as Oracle/MSSQL, Elastic Search
• Familiarity with complex XML configurations
• Strong analytical skills to address technical challenges efficiently
• Ability to work collaboratively in hybrid and international teams
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  
  

We Would Highly Appreciate

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical technologies or pharmaceutical regulatory domains is highly desirable
• Some experience in working with Documentum
• Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium + Java) and API testing tools like Postman
• Some knowledge of Javascript, React
• Familiarity with JSPs
