Summary

We are actively seeking a highly experienced a Mid-Level Structural Engineer to lead the design, analysis, and execution of structural systems for our growing portfolio of residential and mixed-use developments. As a key player in our team, you'll bring expertise, leadership, and innovation to help us deliver high-quality, code-compliant structures across California.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the design, analysis, and review of structural systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
  • Implement best practices in structural analysis and design, utilizing advanced software tools and technologies
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for potential engineering challenges
  • Lead the development of technical proposals and presentations for clients, highlighting our engineering capabilities and project vision
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory updates to maintain best-in-class engineering practices


Required & Preferred Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • 5+ years of structural engineering experience, including 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role
  • Proven experience overseeing complex structural projects from concept through completion
  • Proficiency in structural design software such as SAP2000, AutoCAD, or similar
  • Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards (CBC, IBC)


Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or related field
  • Expertise in seismic design, shear wall systems, and retrofitting
  • Familiarity with sustainable design practices and green building standards


Technical Skills

  • Competency in designing and performing calculations for wood structures, concrete and wood retaining walls, concrete piers, and grade beam foundations
  • Experience in concrete mat slabs and pre- and post-tensioned concrete systems
  • Proficiency in BIM and related modeling software
  • Solid understanding of construction methodologies and on-site processes
  • Experience using project management tools and platforms
