Mid-Level Quality Assurance Engineer


We are looking for a motivated Mid-Level Quality Assurance Engineer to play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our .NET Core product suite. You'll collaborate closely with development teams to contribute to test strategies, covering both manual and automated testing approaches. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your testing expertise and make a real impact on our product quality.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Contributing to Test Strategy: Assist in the development and execution of test plans and strategies that align with product requirements and release schedules.
  • Collaborating on Test Definition: Work with development teams to understand product features and contribute to identifying testing requirements.
  • Building Automation Skills: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using .Net, Selenium WebDriver, and NUnit for UI testing.
  • API Testing Involvement: Utilize tools like Postman and C# Http Client to participate in API testing efforts.
  • Executing Tests & Reporting Findings: Perform both manual and automated tests to identify and document defects clearly.
  • Defect Tracking & Collaboration: Track and manage defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira), working with development to resolve issues.


Required Skills and Experience:


  • Solid QA Foundation: 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with exposure to .NET Core applications.
  • C# Fundamentals for Automation: Good understanding of C# programming concepts relevant to test automation.
  • Web Automation Basics: Familiarity with Selenium WebDriver for automating web applications.
  • Testing Framework Exposure: Experience with NUnit or other testing frameworks for organizing and running tests.
  • API Testing Introduction: Exposure to API testing tools like Postman
  • Familiarity with CI/CD: Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps) is a plus.
  • Understanding of Software Development: Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Shift Left).
  • Good Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyse issues and identify potential defects.
  • Effective Communication: Clear and concise communication skills to report findings and collaborate with the team.
  • Shows Initiative: Eagerness to learn and contribute to improving testing processes.
  • Responsive to Change: Adaptable to evolving project needs and testing priorities.
