Summary/Objectives

Trewon is seeking an IT Project Manager to support our Federal Government client. Our ideal candidate is a driven, articulate professional with proven abilities and experience in a multitude of areas as detailed below. Duties And Responsibilities

  • Ability to support Trewon staff to research and discover solution to problems.
  • Will be a self-starter with a strong initiative and work ethic to deliver solutions in an efficient and consistent manner to the customer.
  • Leverage knowledge of Information Technology in solutioning.
  • Will develop solutioning for federal government proposal, write and review technical content and provide support to the proposal team as required.
  • Will design, develop, build and implement IT systems as required.
  • Will support in other IT support services as needed. One year plus Information Technology related work experience.
  • Ability to self-start and obtain online IT training and obtain necessary certifications as required.
  • Must have extensive quality technical writing experience and proofread team work.
  • Ability to be a quick learner and possess "can-do" attitude.
  • Ability to perform Independently and/or in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated problem solving, organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience in a federal government agency, community-based organization, or customer service setting.
  • Sound research and analytical skills, including the ability to identify problems and formulate solutions.
  • Proven ability to cope with and perform effectively in a demanding environment, giving close attention to detail and accuracy, while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Assist Trewon with business expansion on ongoing efforts and/or provide new business opportunities.
  • Assist Trewon with re-compete efforts for ongoing projects.
  • Lead and provide technical direction to Risk Assessment and Mitigation projects.
  • Provide guidance and direction for multiple projects.
  • Designing, implementing, and managing Federal government cyber and IT risk management engagements.
  • Capable of managing multi-task projects of high technical complexity.
  • Professional certifications such as PMI-PMP, ISC2 CISSP, and PMI-PMP are desirable but not required.
  • Demonstrates experience serving as primary interface with client management personnel regarding strategic issues and supervising Functional Area Leads.
  • Experience supervising communication and knowledge management, project management and compliance, Agile/Scrum management, and other cross-functional personnel that support all functional areas.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and candidates for recruitment.
  • Lead growth of your portfolio in targeted customer market segments including customer acquisition, expansion, and long-term retention.
  • Provide strong leadership to project team members, promoting a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Set clear expectations and provide guidance and support as needed to your team.
  • Support corporate business developments, including but not limited to capture management support, leading action items that help shape RFIs/RFPs, and participation in customer & partner facing collaboration discussions.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.

  • Ability to continually develop and improve the skill and knowledge of junior team members to ensure they perform effectively and adapt to change in the work environments.
  • Effectively lead others to achieve shared goals through cooperation, sharing knowledge, joint problem-solving, and celebrating success.

  • A minimum of (2) years of experience in Information Technology
  • A minimum of (1) years of experience in Project Management

Education Required

  • BA/BS or higher preferred - applicable major preferred.

Work Environment

This position can be supported remotely, remote hybrid and/or with occasional onsite, in-person working groups and/or meetings.> This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers. The core working hours are 9 AM - 3 PM Monday through Friday. Employees will take a mandatory meal break to cover a minimum of 30 minutes. Manager may grant variance depending on client (government or prime contractor) flow-down specifications, upon employer application.

Clearance required: Ability obtain and maintain Secret or higher
