Summary

What We’re Seeking:


We are seeking a full-time Microsoft 365 Integration Architect to provide support on our Defense Enterprise Office Solution (DEOS) Cloud Service contract.


Location(s): This position is a combination of remote (20%) and onsite (80%) support at either Crystal City, VA or Ft. George Meade, MD.


Responsibilities


  • The architect will focus on integration across the following Microsoft technology areas: Messaging (Exchange Server, Exchange Hybrid, Exchange Online), Security & Compliance (eDiscovery, Information/Threat Protection, Information Governance), Unified Communications (Web/Audio/Video Conferencing, IM/persistent chat), Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, PowerApps), Content Collaboration (SharePoint Server, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business), Identity (Microsoft Entra ID, Entra ID Connect, ADFS, Certificated-Based Authentication), and Microsoft Azure
  • Provide top-level technical expertise, including performing in-depth and complex software systems programming and analysis.
  • Design architecture to include software, hardware, and communications to support current technical specifications, while ensuring relevance, functionality, and adaptability for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.
  • Ensure these systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for DoD architecture.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions led by Enterprise Architecture team for development of application architecture and roadmap.
  • Present solution designs to various stakeholders for input, buy-in and sign-off. Leads the development and implementation of large and complex IT solutions. This includes architecting the solution, piloting, first time implementation, documentation and standardization for repeatable deployment.
  • Determine and identify high level functional and technical requirements based on interactions with the user community and knowledge of the enterprise architecture.
  • Interacts with project management to plan project schedules and technical direction.
  • Develop software design documents and technology white papers. Instrumental in selection of development tools.
  • Develop high-level system design diagrams, testing, and documentation.
  • Responsible for quality assurance reviews and evaluation of existing and new software products.


Required Qualifications:


  • Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI or TS and SCI eligible.
  • Industry Certifications: DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (i.e., CCNA, CompTIA Security+ CE or similar)
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or 8+ years of Systems/Network Engineering experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with automation platforms and designing solutions to run at scale.
  • Experience designing, documenting, implementing, and maintaining custom applications for a government customer
  • Expertise in one or more of the following programming languages: C#, Java, JavaScript, Python
  • Expertise in cloud native application development including front and back-end services
  • Experience in Cloud, Azure, MS Office 365 support environments.
  • Experience implementing enterprise policies for internal and external content sharing and collaboration across all O365 core services (Teams, Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint).
  • Collaboration on configuration changes using a distributed revision control system (i.e., Git).
  • Automation with PowerShell Modules and Power Platform.
  • Experience with Agile/SCRUM software development management methods.


Preferred Qualifications/Experience:


  • Experience managing Office 365 GCC High/DoD environments
  • Experience deploying/managing applications in Microsoft Azure
  • Experience implementing Policy as Code (PaC) or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using platforms like Ansible, Terraform, etc.
  • Experience automating tenant configurations using Microsoft 365 related API endpoints, Microsoft 365 Management Interfaces, and/or Microsoft 365 DSC.

Pay: The salary + incentive pay mix for this position ranges between $150,000 - $200,000, negotiable, based on benefits you choose.
