Role Overview: 

We are seeking an experienced Microservices Developer with expertise in NestJS and Java, for one of our premier Banking clients in Qatar. The candidate must have a strong background in microservices architecture, working with Azure DevOps, Azure API Management (APIM), and experience in regulated industries such as banking is highly preferred. 

Roles and Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using NestJS (Node.js) and Java 
• Build robust backend APIs and services integrated with Azure API Management 
• Utilize Azure DevOps for version control, CI/CD, and deployment pipelines 
• Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and architects for seamless delivery 
• Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of services in production environments 
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and design patterns 
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across services and integrations 
• Participate in Agile development cycles, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives 

Requirements: 

Technical & Professional Skills: 

• 5+ years of experience in backend and microservices development 
• Strong hands-on experience with NestJS (or similar Node.js frameworks) and Java (Spring Boot preferred) 
• Solid knowledge of Azure DevOps, pipelines, and Git repositories 
• Experience working with Azure API Management (APIM) 
• Familiarity with RESTful services, JSON, and secure API design principles 
• Exposure to messaging systems or event-driven architecture is a plus 
• Experience in the banking or financial services domain is highly desirable
