Minimum Requirements · NQF Level 2 Electrical Technician · ORHVS Certificate · General Metering · Valid Driver’s License · 1 - 2 years previous experience in electric industry · Knowledge of electricity metering configuration · Basic understanding of electricity, specifically to kWh and KVA Key competencies · Ability to work in a team. · Excellent listening skills. · Good verbal communication skills. · Organized and able to meet deadlines. · Attention to detail. · Willingness to learn. Job Specification Residential Complete residential meter commissioning as soon as incident has been received. Update system and send residential incident back to administration. - Billing run Residential & Commercial Do specific zone manual readings as requested. Do maintenance on site if necessary / possible. Upload reading upload photo if required. Maintenance o Do daily check for faults o Identify reading outstanding longer than two days and plan for maintenance. o Document maintenance recurring more than three times. o Resolve problem in case of communication.
