CFC has a need for a Member Center Manager to join the Member Center team. This is a hybrid position requiring onsite work at our headquarters office in Sterling, VA, as well as optional remote workdays. The Member Center Manager is responsible for the management of CFC’s member investment products and services and day-to-day Member Center operations. The Member Center Manager is also responsible for providing support of all ongoing projects related to the Member Center.
As the Member Center Manager, you will:
- Manage CFC’s Member Center operations and related activities.
- Manage processing of member commercial paper (CP), Select Notes and Daily Liquidity Fund trades, lines of credit (LOC) loan advances, Paying Agent Services, and QuickDraw transactions.
- Manage the processing and maintenance of members’ wire and ACH instructions.
- Oversee daily reconciliation of member investment trades and day-to-day wire transfers and ACH processing.
- Track, monitor and produce reports, analysis and presentation materials related to member investments trends, patterns and program conditions and of Member Center operations.
- Prepare regular and ad hoc reports on the investment programs to senior leadership through written assessments and/or verbal presentations.
- Assist with developing strategies to maintain and/or increase members’ participation in CFC’s investment programs and related services.
- Manage the resolution of service issues arising from day-to-day operations.
- Manage member information database in CP trading software.
- As needed, assist in facilitating the successful implementation and launch of the Member Center’s Treasury software application and retiring of existing legacy systems.
- Supervise the establishment and enforcement of departmental procedures related to all aspects of Member Center operations.
- Assess ongoing internal audit and systems requirements pertaining to the Member Center operations.
- Manage the review and drafting of SOX documents and procedures and respond to internal audit requests.
- Manage the training, development, and mentoring of staff across the Member Center team to establish bench strength.
To be successful, you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or management.
- Advanced (Master’s/MBA) degree a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in business/financial management, Treasury operations experience.
- Previous management experience required.
- Proven managerial and leadership abilities with a focus on customer service.
- Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Advanced understanding of banking systems/software applications.
- Proven verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledgeable with Treasury operations (e.g. back office, middle office and cash management).
