Job Title: Medical Technologist
* Second Shift (M-F: 2:30pm-11pm)

Responsibilities
* Operate general chemistry and perform manual methods and other instrumentation in the laboratory area.
* Analyze and organize work by matching computer orders with specimen labeling, sorting specimens, checking labeling, logging specimens, and arranging reports for delivery.
* Maintain clean and orderly work surfaces.
* Monitor test analyses and specimen examinations to ensure acceptable levels of analytic performance are maintained.
* Maintain quality results by running standards and controls, verifying equipment function through routine maintenance and troubleshooting, and calibrating equipment using approved testing procedures.
* Process and test upwards of 1000 samples per shift.
* Work with blood and urine samples to perform necessary testing.
* Maintain records to demonstrate proficiency testing samples are tested in the same manner as patient specimens.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Medical Lab Science or Chemistry.
* Minimum of 3 months of industry experience in a clinical lab setting.
* Chemistry bench experience in healthcare (urine/blood testing).
* Ability to work in a fast-paced lab environment.
* Ability to process 1000+ samples per shift.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
