Work Mode: On-site with regional travel

Salary Range: $90,000 – $140,000 (based on experience and interview performance)

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer with extensive experience in servicing medical imaging systems, particularly MRI, CT, and PET/CT modalities. This role involves hands-on fieldwork for installation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs in healthcare facilities across the Greater Philadelphia area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, service, and troubleshoot imaging equipment including MR, CT, and PET/CT.
  • Ensure systems are calibrated and fully functional per OEM standards and customer requirements.
  • Provide responsive and solution-oriented support to healthcare clients.
  • Travel throughout a designated territory, mainly in the Northeast region, with a focus on Philadelphia.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communication regarding field activities.
  • Continuously improve technical knowledge and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Support customer satisfaction and build strong, long-term client relationships.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of recent experience in servicing medical imaging equipment.
  • Formal training from OEMs (GE, Philips, Siemens) or third-party institutions (RSTI, AllParts).
  • Must provide OEM training certificates.
  • Active state license required.
  • US Citizen or Green Card holder.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to lift equipment over 75 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of overall experience in medical imaging service.
  • Hands-on experience with PET/CT is a strong advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred.

  • Exceptional communication skills – verbal, written, and interpersonal.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and deliver consistent results.
