Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Medical Coding and Billing Specialist at Alyeska Vascular Surgery LLC in Anchorage, AK, with the flexibility to work partially from home. The Medical Coding Specialist will be responsible for assigning appropriate codes to medical diagnoses and procedures, ensuring accurate billing and reimbursement, and maintaining patient records up to industry standards.

Qualifications

• Coding and Billing Experience with AAPC certification
• Experience in Medical Terminology
• Proficiency in Medical Coding and Medical Billing
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance standards
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of vascular medical terminology is a plus
