Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Coder to join our remote team at StafGo Healthcare Pvt Ltd. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in medical coding and billing, specifically within the fields of Primary Care, Internal Medicine, and Urgent Care. As a key member of our team, you will ensure accurate coding, manage billing processes, and contribute to the seamless flow of our client’s revenue cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review patient charts and determine the most accurate codes for medical procedures, diagnoses, and treatments.

• Accurately assign ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes for services rendered in primary care, internal medicine, and urgent care settings.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, guidelines, and payer-specific requirements.

• Collaborate with the billing team to resolve coding issues and ensure proper reimbursement for services rendered.

• Work with healthcare providers to ensure documentation meets coding standards and supports claim submissions.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding changes and healthcare regulations.

• Support claim submissions, denials management, and payment posting for clients.

Qualifications:

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification is preferred.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in medical coding, specifically for Primary Care, Internal Medicine, and Urgent Care practices.

• Proficiency in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.

• Strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical procedures.

• Experience with coding and billing software, preferably in a remote setting.

• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
