Compliance: Ensure all coding practices adhere to industry standards, regulations, and confidentiality requirements.
Skill Sets
Certification: Certified Professional Coder (CPC) through the AAPC or equivalent certification.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical coding, with a preference for experience in historical or specialized coding.
