In this position, you will play a key role in reviewing and analyzing medical billing and coding for processing. You will review and accurately code Pro Fee charges for Office and Inpatient. Job ID Date Posted 30 November 2020 Job Location US Responsibilities Receive and review patient charts and documents for accuracy Ensure that all codes are current and active Report missing or incomplete documentation Ensure proper coding on provider documentation Follows coding guidelines and legal requirements to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations Meet daily coding production Requirements and Qualifications High school degree or equivalent Medical Coding Certificate; RHIT or CPC by AAPC or AHIMA license Maintain coding certification Two (2) or more years of experience in physician/professional multi-specialty coding (Hospitalist, Trauma, Internal Medicine) Preference for Hospitalist coders.
