Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Outpatient Medical Coder. The Outpatient Medical Coder will be responsible for performing day-to-day coding tasks, utilizing their expertise in medical terminology and coding. This role requires strong knowledge of Health Information Management and coding experience to accurately assign codes to outpatient medical procedures and diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Coding Experience and AAPC/ AHIMA certification
• Strong knowledge of Health Information Management and Medical Terminology
• Proficiency in CPTs, E/M, modifiers etc.
• Attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with outpatient coding is a requirement
