Medical Billing Instructor (Part-Time, Full-Time)We are looking for individuals with a Medical Billing background and an interest in teaching to join our team.The Medical Billing Instructor is in charge of teaching specific subjects in the medical billing curriculum to ensure student understanding. This includes using effective teaching tools such as audio/visual equipment and reference materials; developing lesson plans and learning experiences; adhering to a course outline; managing a classroom of students; evaluating students through testing and other related means; and reporting on and recording class and individual student progress. The Medical Billing Instructor is also responsible for going through the curriculum and making useful suggestions on how to improve it to promote effective learning. Advising students on their career options.Requirements:Must have qualified as a certified medical biller: obtaining this qualification from an approved institution. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, QuickBooks and Google Workspace including Google Docs, Forms and Sheets preferredKnowledge of Medical Office procedures and EMR programsKnowledge of ICD-10An ability to learn new methodologies and systemsExcellent communication skillsTeaching experience a plusResponsibilities:Classroom instructionMaintain positive student retentionParticipate in instructor trainingClassroom, laboratory and test preparationJob Type: Part-time, Full time Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hourSchedule:4 hour shiftEvening shiftMorning’s Work Location: One location
