Summary

Major/Essential Functions Interviews, recommends hires, evaluates and trains new employees. Reviews work products and processes in areas of responsibility daily; the position is in a fast-paced business office. Coordinates and reviews clinic information for reporting purposes. Researches systems or processing issues related to billing and oversees the implementation of solutions. Participates in revising and implementing new policies and procedures for employees. Assists clinical departments with issues related to billing. Responsible for providing any additional training for existing employees and assessing training needs. This position is Hybrid; 1x in office/week and for occasional meetings or special events. Required Qualifications A minimum of a High school diploma or equivalent required, Five years of office experience. Bachelor's degree in business or related area preferred OR Three years' work experience in the Medical Billing Associate program. Preferred Qualifications Experience with medical insurance; third-party payers, both funded and self-funded. Two (2) years of supervisory experience leading a team of two or more people. Experience working in the medical billing associate program at TTUHSC.
