Rochester Endoscopy Surgery Center has a full-time opportunity available for a Medical Biller to join our team. Responsibilities would include following up on unpaid claims, clarifies discrepancies, arranges payment plans for patients, obtains pre-authorizations for certain procedures, reviews bills, confirms eligibility, payment posting. Must have 2 years experiance. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED · Proficient with computers and medical billing software · Knowledge of medical terminology · Knowledge of insurance guidelines, including HMO/PPO and Medicare · Effective communication skills with patients and healthcare companies · Able to multi-task · Excellent problem-solving skills. · Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. · Ambulatory surgery center billing experience preferred.
