Position: Medical Biller Location: [Location] Job Summary: The Medical Biller is responsible for processing and submitting medical claims to insurance companies and other health care payers. This position requires knowledge of medical billing and coding, insurance regulations and reimbursement processes. The Medical Biller must have an attention to detail, excellent customer service skills and strong organizational skills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare and submit medical claims to insurance companies and other health care payers. Monitor claim status and ensure timely payment. Follow up on unpaid and denied claims. Maintain organized records of all billing and payment activities. Resolve patient billing disputes. Review and update patient accounts. Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. Prepare and submit required reports to insurance companies. Answer patient inquiries related to billing and payment. Assist with other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience working with medical billing and coding. Knowledge of insurance regulations and reimbursement processes. Excellent customer service skills.
