Media Internship Opportunities at Young Media

Young Media is a creative studio dedicated to developing impactful media formats, campaigns, and digital content for mission-driven organizations and forward-thinking brands. We believe in the power of storytelling and design to drive change and connect with audiences in meaningful ways.

We are currently offering internship opportunities starting in August/September 2025 in Heemstede, Haarlem, for enthusiastic and ambitious students eager to gain hands-on experience in the media industry. Our internship program offers five distinct roles:

As a Media Design Intern (Ideal for students with a strong eye for detail and a passion for visual storytelling), you will:

• Support the creation of visual content for social media, campaigns, and branding projects
• Design presentations, flyers, booklets, banners, and visual identities

As a Video Production Intern, you will:

• Participate in the full video production process, from concept development to final editing
• Assist with filming, editing video content, adding effects and graphics
• Contribute to the creation of compelling visual stories across platforms

As an Audio Production Intern, you will:

• Work on the sound design of podcasts and video content
• Create soundscapes, mix audio, edit jingles and bumpers
• Collaborate with producers to enhance the audio quality and experience of our content

As a Creative Concept Intern, you will:

• Help develop creative concepts and content strategies for various campaigns
• Be involved in trend research, format development, and copywriting
• Shape social media concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging content

As a Media Production Intern, you will:

• Support the planning and execution of media projects
• Manage production logistics, coordinate schedules, assist with location planning
• Ensure the smooth running of daily production activities

Candidate profile

We are looking for motivated students who:

• Are enrolled in an MBO 4 or HBO program in a relevant field (e.g., media, design, communication)
• Have a proactive attitude and strong communication skills
• Are eager to learn and contribute to a dynamic creative environment
• Can work independently as well as part of a team
• Are based in or able to commute to the Haarlem/Heemstede area
