Job Location: Irvine, CA Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering 2-4 years + Design Mechanical drawings with AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Make decisions to create design layouts within strict specifications Plan, organize, and integrate complete engineering design projects within area of assigned responsibility Piping design experience SolidWorks Pipe routing experience Working knowledge of CNG fueling facilities, including CNG compressors, gas dryers, control valve panels and dispensers, as well as LNG storage and dispensing is a plus Draft drawings for compressed natural gas fueling stations is a plus Duties & Responsibilities: Review rough sketches, drawings specifications Transform initial conceptual drawings into construction documents Generates construction drawings with all critical dimensions Read, understand, and learn safety codes, and specifications applicable to assigned projects Develop the station design plans, calculations & reports as related to civil, mechanical, and electrical. Research and apply code requirements as required to solve design challenges. Create engineering design plans utilizing AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
