Test Engineer - Antwerp - Freelance - On-site/Full time

For a world leading client we are looking for a Test Engineer in the field of Electromechanical Engineering.

What you'll do:

• Execute testing activities on complete machines and machine components.
• Work on-site in the Netherlands, with potential occasional travel to clients in Sweden and the US.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and validate prototypes or partial machine systems.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams.
• Interpret compressor schematics and provide technical feedback during testing.
• Support both in-house testing and on-location client testing.

Your Profile:

• A Master’s degree in Mechanical or Technical Engineering
• Technical passion — you enjoy hands-on work, troubleshooting, or even personal projects like machine refurbishing.
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems, electrical wiring, controllers, software testing and compressor elements.
• Ability to analyze technical systems and propose practical solutions.
• Comfortable reading schematics and understanding system logic.
• Fluent in Dutch and English!
• Strong interpersonal skills, especially important for customer-facing assignments
