Mechanical Supervisor / Mechanical Site Manager

Contract/ Day Rate

A Mechanical and Electrical contractor who has been established for over 50 years is looking for several Mechanical Supervisor's to run men and subbies on a Residential site in Cambridge.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Managing site-based mechanical trade contractors and workers
• Ensuring safe management and control of mechanical services installation & ensuring works are carried out in accordance with procedures.
• Technical documentation and project reporting including risk assessments, method statements, O&M manuals, technical submittals etc.
• Attending weekly progress meetings with the client, main contractor and subcontractors.
• Ensuring key milestones are achieved, with a high quality of installation maintained throughout.

Successful applicants will need to have the below:

• Mechanical / plumbing qualification
• CSCS card (Managers)
• SSSTS certificate
• Ideally a track record of delivering projects in the Residential sectors.

The ideal candidate will have upwards of two years' experience as a Mechanical Supervisor whilst a stable career history with leading M&E building services contractors is also preferred.
