Must Haves:

• Experience within Project Management or a Mechanical Engineer looking to get into Project Management
• Prior construction experience, with knowledge of construction processes, and deploying construction crews in a timely manner.
• Previous utilities experience
• Oil, Gas, Natural Gas, Water
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with experience working on multiple projects at one time.
• Knowledge of permitting
• Environmental permitting
• Right of Way permitting
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to work overtime, or on the weekend if a construction timeline needs additional support

Plusses:

• Experience using Microsoft Project
• Knowledge of pressure testing

Day to Day:

Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager for a client in the utilities space. This project manager will support a team responsible for pressure testing, and putting a together a construction team and mobilize crews with a quick turn around time when compliance and safety issues arise; so this Project Manager should come from a construction background, so they are familiar with construction processes. Any previous engineering experience will also be helpful in getting up to speed for this role. This individual will also be responsible for managing construction budgets, schedules and project meetings. They will be managing resources and permits, and will be expected to facilitate the project review process. Due to the nature of this team, this individual may be asked to work on weekends in critical project situations, when there are quick deadlines to meet.
