Mechanical Project Manager
Position Overview
The Mechanical Project Manager will oversee and coordinate mechanical engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, managing project resources, and applying engineering principles to meet customer requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects from concept to completion.
- Develop project plans outlining timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
- Utilize AutoCAD to create, modify, and review mechanical designs and specifications.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of HVAC systems and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Manage project budgets and track expenses to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential issues and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure quality assurance processes are followed and deliverables meet required standards.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
- Facilitate effective communication among project team members and stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and project staff.
- Resolve problems and conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
