Position Summary:

A leading national MEP contractor in the Life Sciences sector is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager (or Senior Project Manager) to lead the mechanical and process piping scope for a high-profile facility in Holly Springs, NC.

This position is part of a growing division within a company that recently expanded through a strategic merger, further solidifying its presence across cleanroom, biotech, and advanced manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of mechanical and process piping work on large-scale Life Sciences construction projects.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure schedule, budget, and quality expectations are met.
• Lead procurement, scheduling, project documentation, and risk management efforts.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for mechanical scopes during the full project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in construction project management with a focus on mechanical and/or process piping systems.
• Prior experience in cleanroom, pharmaceutical, biotech, or high-tech facility projects preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools and software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
