Job Title: Mechanical Project Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to work on Yorkshire Water sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Water and Mechanical Engineering. This is a varied job which will require excellent organisational qualities and man management skills, alongside the physical mechanical work. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing pipe installations, steel work, and pumps
• Ensuring all work is completed to specifications and maintaining quality assurance
• Ordering materials and managing inventory
• Coordinating with subcontractors and agency staff
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience in water and mechanical engineering
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
