Summary

Be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to technical projects, finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve Products, techniques, procedures, and technologies. You will support the design and development of new ideas and solutions for new product development as well as supporting current products modification and improvements based on in service needs and market strategy. You will support the concept, design and implementation of mechanical parts, subassemblies and final products. Key Responsibilities + Technical documentation + Mechanical Parts design and support + Drawing and 3D modeling + Component and system analysis + Engineering support + Technical reporting **Key responsibilities** + Creating and verifying layout, detail, air, load, structural drawings, schematics, and equipment orders as applicable to the project. + Planning equipment layout, material flow, and measures to maintain efficient and safe utilization of resources and equipment on projects as assigned. + Working with other engineering fields in the development and application of material handling equipment and solutions. + Directing and coordinating building of prototypes. Conferring with research and other specialists to clarify and resolve problems found during execution; prepares design modifications. + Performing calculations (e.g., to compute angles, weights, dimensions, etc) and prepares detailed multi-view drawings based on engineering data and standard references. **YOU MUST HAVE** + Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics **WE VALUE** + Industrial design talent + Ability to work independently + Willingness to learn new technologies + Anopen, honest and team oriented personality + Eagerness to get involved in hands-on work + Creativity + Some experience developing new products or sustaining existing product ranges + Some experience in a highly regulated or safety critical domain + Mechanical Engineering degree Honeywell is an equal opportunity employer.
