Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to lead and manage mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all project requirements are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical engineering projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Design and analyze mechanical systems and components, including pressure vessels and hydraulic systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation and process systems into project designs.
- Oversee the procurement and installation of mechanical equipment, including pumps and structural skid frames.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments as part of project planning.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as DnV, API 520, and ASME during project execution.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including project specifications and reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3-5+ years of mechanical engineering experience
- Proven experience in project engineering within the industrial sector.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, including hydraulic systems and pressure vessel design.
- Experience with chemical injection and utility systems preferred.
- Familiarity with automation technologies and process systems is a plus.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead teams effectively.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
