Mechanical Project Engineer

Overview:

We’re looking for a motivated Project Engineer to support the successful execution of design-build construction projects. Reporting to the Sales Manager and working closely with a dedicated Project Manager, you’ll coordinate technical activities, support project documentation, and help drive clear communication across teams, clients, and partners. This is a great opportunity to deepen your experience in estimating, scheduling, and BIM within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with proposals, subcontracts, change orders, and other project documentation.
• Help manage RFIs, submittals, procurement logs, shop drawings, and closeout materials.
• Support project meetings and coordination efforts across internal and external teams.
• Perform takeoffs, gather vendor quotes, and assist with estimates and change orders.
• Monitor project progress and assist in resolving technical or installation issues.
• Interpret design documents and contribute to value engineering solutions.
• Track procurement, assist with purchasing, and support financial reporting tasks.
• Foster strong communication with internal departments and external partners.
• Escalate issues that may impact project schedule or budget.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Mechanical focus preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with tools like JDE, Bluebeam, Smartsheet, etc. a plus.
• 3+ years experience in Engineering or Construction.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
